Sunrise Boulevard runs from our home base in Citrus Heights straight down over the American River and into Gold River, so if you live here, you’re basically on our commute. That’s handy in December. We’re Buddy’s Christmas Light Hanging, and our Gold River Christmas light hanging comes with lights we supply and ladders we haul in, and when a strand acts up we’re not far off. Call (916) 510-0929 and you’ll have a free quote before you hang up.
Gold River Christmas light hanging on HOA streets
Gold River has its big community association plus a smaller one for most villages. Fine by us. We ask what your village allows before we hang anything: colors, where lights can go, what time the display should shut off. Then we build the plan inside those lines and set a timer so it turns itself off on schedule. No awkward note from the board in your mailbox.
Tile roofs need a gentle hand
A lot of Gold River has stucco walls and tile roofs. Tile is lovely to look at and fussy to work on. It can crack if you step on it wrong, and it doesn’t take the same clips a shingle roof does. So we bring tile-specific clips that hold without prying anything up, do most of the work standing on a ladder at the gutter line, and keep off the middle of the roof. The goal is that you can’t tell we were ever up there, except for the lights.
Peaks and gables get their own runs. On the two-story homes that make up much of Gold River, that upper gable is usually what people remember about the house, and it’s the part nobody should be climbing to on their own.
A few villages and what they need
Around Gold River Park on Gold Country Boulevard, Bret Harte Village and Empire Village sit close to a park full of big, mature trees. That kind of canopy is great for trunk and branch wraps. We space the wraps evenly and keep them tight so the tree reads clearly from the street.
Enterprise Village has winding streets and larger custom homes from the mid-nineties, which means curvy driveways and walks. Stake lighting along a curved path looks sharp when it’s spaced right, and we flag sprinkler heads before any stake goes in the ground.
Parke Place is a gated village of only 32 homes. With that few houses, a well-lit one gets noticed fast, and a wreath at the entry plus garland on the porch rail may be all you need. Our wreath hanging page has more on that.
The greenbelt side of the house
A lot of Gold River homes back onto greenbelts, parks or trails. That means the back of your house is on display to everybody out walking the dog after dinner. Some folks have us run roofline lights along the back eave too, or wrap a tree near the fence line, so the trail side looks as good as the street side. Pillar wraps on a back patio cover work nicely here as well.
Power, timers and the January takedown
We plan where every cord runs and which outlet it comes from before anything goes up, then put the whole display on a timer. A dark section in mid-December? Ring (916) 510-0929 and somebody from the crew heads over to fix it. Once January rolls in, we pull every clip and strand off the house and cart the whole works off ourselves. Your garage shelves stay free, and the tile doesn’t spend spring wearing leftover lights.
We’re across the river in Fair Oaks all season, plus Rancho Cordova and Folsom, so Gold River fits in easily. Use the contact page if typing’s easier, or phone (916) 510-0929 and mention your village name.
